Allianz Life Insurance Company Breach

Allianz Life Insurance Company disclosed a data breach impacting approximately 1.4 million customers, financial professionals, and select Allianz Life employees. The security incident that occured on July 16 was limited to a third-party cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) system. The breach was contained and mitigated. Stolen personal information includes names, addresses, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers. Allianz Life notified impacted individuals and provided two years of free identity theft and credit monitoring services.
