Central Jersey Medical Center, Inc.
Central Jersey Medical Center, Inc. (CJMC) announced a data breach in which personally identifiable information and protected health information of certain patients may have been compromised. On August 25, 2025, a threat actor gained unauthorized access to the CJMC dental servers’ network and downloaded ransomware, which encrypted files. At this time, there is no evidence that patient information has been misused. However, potentially exposed information may include demographic information (such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, race, or ethnicity), Social Security number, dental record number, health insurance information, dental diagnoses, treatment history, and billing information. The NJCCIC recommends that affected individuals review the Compromised PII and Identity Theft NJCCIC Informational Report.
