SitusAMC provides back-end operations in mortgage origination, servicing, and compliance for banks and investors. On November 22, SitusAMC disclosed  a data breach affecting corporate data related to clients and their customers. On November 12, SitusAMC discovered an incident involving the compromise of certain information from their systems. The incident was contained and did not involve encrypting malware. Hardening measures included implementing credential resets, disabling remote access tools, updating certain firewall rules, and enhancing security settings. Systems and services are fully operational, and the incident is currently under investigation. Notifications have been sent to impacted clients and customers.
