On or around May 5, 2025, The Institute of Culinary Education (“The Institute”) detected suspicious activity that initiated an investigation. The findings revealed that an unauthorized threat actor gained access to certain systems and copied files containing information relating to current and former students and other individuals. Information at risk may include name, Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s license number, and US alien registration number. The Institute implemented cybersecurity measures and notified impacted individuals. The NJCCIC recommends that affected individuals review the Compromised PII and Identity Theft NJCCIC Informational Report.
